—–I missed last week’s photohunt simply because I can’t find a perfect photo that will fit the theme, but this time, I found this picture from our summer vacation and I noticed the reflection of sun to the water. It was the Lake St. Clair in Sarnia, On. I have no idea why I took this shot, but now, I’m glad I did!

I love the pastel blues in this photo – it’s very peaceful. The shaft of sunlight on the water looks like a pathway to the break in the clouds. I think it’s beautiful.

I like this a lot, too. It’s such a tranquil, serene scene. Almost monochromatic, giving it such a calm, peaceful quality with that sliver of light reflecting on the surface.
