—–I was browsing all the pictures I had from our year long vacation in the Philippines and I realized that I never feature any picture of my relatives,so I decided to post these one, she is my niece and her name is Ashley, the last time I talked to my mom on the phone, she said that until now, she keep asking her about Kendrick being home because she want to play with him, she and Kendrick are constant playmate when we’re there, and just a few days ago, Kendrick, out of nothing, told me that he missed “Duday” (her nickname).

It’s hard for kids when their friends and cousins are on the other side of the world. My daughter misses many playmates in England, and, although we manage to see and talk to some of them on Skype, it’s a poor substitute for the real thing.

Ohhhhh…..she is so cute!!! Its so sad, you know….every time my daughter goes to my old country either with me or with my mom – and then she comes back in the States – she is asking about her friends that she left behind. I think that she just now starts to realize that they are just so far far away
